Eurofins Food and Feed Testing participates in Hungary's largest food industry exhibition in 2024 not only with a stand but is also organising a professional conference together with the Hungarian Association of Packaging and Materials Handling (CSAOSZ). This will be the first time the two long-established prestigious laboratories (one in Budapest and one in Gyula) present Eurofins' food safety services as a joint business line, drawing attention to tests and analyses of recycled packaging materials. SIRHA Budapest, the most important international food industry and HoReCa exhibition of Central and East Europe, will await professionals for the sixth time between 5 and 7 March 2024, at the HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre. Like two years ago, this high profile event attracts great interest; the organisers expect more than 20 thousand visitors this time again.
As we have already informed our partners on several occasions the tasks of Eurofins's food safety division (Food and Feed Testing) have, since 1 January 2024, been performed by the two long-established laboratories together: Eurofins Food and Feed Testing Budapest, headquartered in Budapest and Eurofins Food and Feed Testing Gyula (legal successor of Eurofins Food Analytica Kft.) having its registered office in the town of Gyula.
The two laboratories, with 30 years of professional experience and vast expertise, will be presenting their unified services for the first time ever in the fields of physico-chemical, microbiological and molecular biological analyses of foodstuffs, and at our stand you can also consult our experts concerning our analyses of allergens, pesticides and packaging materials. Indeed!
You can also attend our conference on 6 March between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the latter subject, which we are organising together with CSAOSZ. At the conference entitled Old and New Challenges - Changes in food safety and environmental regulations on packaging materials and packaging, technical novelties and interesting facts a detailed presentation will be delivered, for example, on new hazardous compounds that can be released from recycled packaging materials into food, which need to be studied, and on the relevant legal regulations and testing methods.
